    In Kashmir, 6 Border Police personnel died after the bus fell into a river

    Accident in Jammu and Kashmir: At least 30 other security force personnel on the bus were injured in the accident.


    Digital Desk: Six border police officers were killed today when their bus crashed into a riverbed in Jammu and Kashmir.


    At least 30 other passengers on the bus were injured in the accident, which occurred at Chandanwari in Anantnag district, allegedly due to brake failure.


    The bus, carrying 39 security force personnel—37 from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and two from the Jammu and Kashmir Police—was traveling from Chandanwari to Pahalgam when the incident occurred.


    Six ITBP personnel were killed in a road #accident near Chandanwari Pahalgam in the Anantnag district. In contrast, several others were injured and are being #airlifted to an Army hospital in Srinagar for treatment. More information will be provided later, "Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.



    According to Piyush Singla, deputy commissioner of Anantnag, medical teams at the Government Medical College, the district hospital, and the sub-divisional hospital in Seer have been placed on high alert.


    The victims' bodies were kept at the Pahalgam Civil Hospital, while those who sustained severe injuries were given first aid and referred to the GMC Anantnag.


    According to reports, the security personnel was returning from Amarnath Yatra duty.
