Varun Gandhi is "Grateful" to AIMIM's chief Asaduddin Owaisi for this reason

According to Varun Gandhi's calculations, around 60 lakh posts were vacant in the government institutions. 

Digital Desk: BJP MP Varun Gandhi, known for criticizing the Narendra Modi government, expressed his gratitude to AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi today. Gandhi praised Owaisi for bringing up the topic of unemployment in his speech and sharing the fact on Twitter. According to Varun Gandhi's calculations, around 60 lakh posts were vacant in the government institutions. 

"Unemployment has reached its highest level in nearly three decades. On the one hand, the youth are dissatisfied with the lack of work opportunities; on the other hand, government records show that 60 lakh jobs remain unfilled," Varun Gandhi has previously tweeted. Owaisi appears to have used the identical figures in a recent speech and even attributed the data.

"I am grateful that my questions raised on employment were mentioned by @asadowaisi Ji in his speech," Varun Gandhi posted video footage of Owaisi's speech on Twitter in Hindi.

In his speech, Owaisi criticized the government for failing to offer enough jobs for the youth. He also accused the government of igniting communal conflicts to divert the youth's focus away from more pressing matters such as jobs, education, and health. Notably, this isn't the first time Varun Gandhi has been caught doing something against the party policy. Gandhi has previously embarrassed the BJP on several occasions.

In November 2021, Gandhi wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to support the farmers' demand for a legislative MSP guarantee for their crops, stating that their struggle would not be complete without it. Without naming Ajay Kumar Mishra 'Teni,' the Pilibhit MP had demanded PM Modi to take action against Union minister Ajay Kumar Mishra 'Teni' for the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Gandhi had previously openly supported the farmer leader on the issue of the now-repealed farm laws.
