Digital Desk: According to a Nikkei story on Wednesday, Apple Inc. is requesting that some of the AirPod and Beats headphone production be moved to India for the first time. This could be yet another victory for New Delhi in its campaign for domestic manufacture.
According to the story, which cited sources, Foxconn, an Apple iPhone manufacturer, is getting ready to manufacture Beats headphones in India and eventually plans to create AirPods there as well.

However, Luxshare is now concentrating more on its Vietnamese AirPods operations and may launch major manufacture of Apple products in India later than its rivals, according to the Nikkei newspaper.
