Digital Desk: An LPG cylinder explosion aboard a motor boat in Patna's Sone River on Saturday resulted in four fatalities and numerous injuries, according to an official, Press Trust of India reported.

According to him, the event occurred near the Maner area when an LPG cylinder leaked while the boat's occupants were cooking.

"Four persons passed away instantly, and several more were injured. The local police are looking into the situation and attempting to identify each victim "Chandrasekhar Singh, the district magistrate for Patna, informed PTI.

"The motor boat could be carried to the bank because it did not sink after the explosion. The closest government hospital received the injured patients. It is said that their condition is stable. LPG cylinders are prohibited from being transported on motorboats "Added he.
