Digital Desk: A health department official stated on Friday that 65 children were unwell after eating 'kulfi' from a vendor in Rajasthan's Alwar district.

The event occurred on Thursday evening in Khurd village, which is located in the Rajgarh police station area.

Dr Shriram Sharma, Chief Medical and Health Officer in Alwar, said 65 youngsters were taken to hospitals in Alwar, Bandikui, and Rajgarh after complaining of vomiting and abdominal pain after eating kulfi from an ice cream vendor.

He stated that 50 children were sent home after receiving first aid, while approximately 15 children were admitted and treated.

After recovering, the children admitted to the hospital were also discharged on Friday morning.

Sharma stated that a sample of Kulfi had been sent for testing.
