The star kid said, "Sir, you have done me great wrong and ruined my reputation." Why did I have to spend so many weeks in jail—did I really deserve it? "

Digital Desk: The Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his family faced one of their toughest times last year as his son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an alleged drug case.

NCB's zonal directorate, led by Sameer Wankhede, filed charges against him, and a Special Investigation Team was constituted to investigate them independently. The famous youngster was allegedly in possession of illicit drugs when he was arrested on the Cordelia cruise on October 2. However, due to a lack of evidence, all charges against him were cleared.

Sanjay Singh, the NCB's deputy director-general who headed the SIT, revealed the conversation he had with Aryan Khan in an interview with India Today Magazine for their cover story, "Lessons From The Aryan Khan Case." According to the magazine, Singh said that he had not expected Aryan Khan's "soul-searching questions." "Sir, you have branded me as an international drug trafficker, that I finance drug trafficking— aren't these charges absurd?" Aryan said after he made Aryan feel at ease by telling him he had come with an "open mind."Despite the fact that no drugs were found on my person that day, I was detained. "

Singh also revealed that when he met Shah Rukh Khan, he was heartbroken and that Aryan was not sleeping well. SRK also informed Singh that he needed to go to Aryan's room to keep him company throughout the night, according to Singh. "We've been branded as giant criminals or monsters trying to ruin society, and going to work every day is difficult for us," a tearful Shah Rukh Khan reportedly told Singh.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Singh, in an exclusive interview with News18, pointed out several flaws in the initial investigation, including the use of informers as witnesses, the failure to seize mobile phones in accordance with the law, the lack of a medical examination to prove consumption, and the use of WhatsApp chats as primary evidence.
