Digital Desk: The Assam Secondary Education Council announces the matriculation results today. As the wait is over for the students who appeared for the Assam High School Leaving (HSLC) Examination, the results for 2022 have been announced.


In Assam, a total of 4,05,562 students took the High School Leaving Examination in the year 2022; amongst the students who appeared for the exam, out of them, 1,8,570 were boys, and 2,16,012 were girls, as per the reports.


A total of 229,131 students passed the High School Leaving Examination out of 4,05,562 students who took the exam. 


65,17 students hold the first division, 99,754 students stand in 2nd position, and 84,101 students pass in the third division out of all the students. 


For the year 2022, the pass rate for the Assam High School Leaving Examination is 56.49 per cent. In the year 2022, the pass rate of students in high school education examinations has lowered after four years.


The pass rate of students in this year's examination is 56.70 per cent, and the pass rate of female students is 54.49 per cent. 


It is to be noted that in the year 2021, there was no high school education examination due to Covid. However, over 90% of the students in the state passed the examination based on pre-examination that year.
