The country faces an insurmountable danger if the BJP comes to power for the third time...

Digital Desk: Kerala's chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday issued a dire warning: if the BJP wins a third term, the nation will be in "insurmountable danger," and there would be no point in regretting it thereafter.

Attacking the RSS, the Sangh Parivar, and the BJP-controlled Central Government, Vijayan claimed that they were working to eradicate the nation's diversity and create a nation based on religion.

The chief minister of Kerala asserted that racial conflicts had begun in the nation based on cows, the appropriate food habits, and the portrayal of one group of citizens as enemies of the nation.

He claimed that everyone has a right to equal protection under the law, regardless of their religion, caste, or creed, but that is changing in the nation.

The CM alleged during a speech at an event in a district of north Kerala that all of this has caused fear and concern among minority communities.

"The country faces an insurmountable danger if the BJP comes to power for the third time, and there would be no point in expressing regret thereafter," the CM further stated.

"The nation is aware of this truth, and the general consensus is that this threat has to be avoided. In order to oppose the BJP and prevent it from securing a third term in power, a united front of secular-minded organizations and individuals has been created, the CM stated.

He stated that the BJP had also realized that a third term may not be possible.

"That realization has led them to take some dangerous steps, as indicated by some recent incidents," the chief minister stated.

According to Vijayan, recent raids by several central agencies in four states with opposition governments "show how the BJP is going to respond to the changing circumstances."

"More of these behaviors can be anticipated from them, but they won't be sufficient to persuade or sway people's minds. The united front against the BJP is effective and must be made much stronger," he said.
