New Delhi: On Monday. the Ola Foundation, the humanitarian arm of Ola, announced that it has partnered with donation platform GiveIndia to provide customers with oxygen concentrators.

This partnership is a means to increase participation in support forces amid the dangerous second wave of the COVID pandemic. It said Ola will expand the free oxygen concentrator doorstep delivery service across India in the coming weeks.

The assistance will be given for free through the Ola app, service will commence working out in Bengaluru from this week with an opening set of 500 oxygen concentrators.

Purchasers can demand an oxygen concentrator from the Ola app by giving a few basic details. Once submitted, the request will be approved. The Ola will then pick up the concentrator via one of its cabs including a specially qualified driver and deliver it to the consumer's doorstep.

“We must come together and help our communities during these unprecedented times. With the O2ForIndia initiative in partnership with GiveIndia, we will provide free and easy access to oxygen concentrators to those in need,” said Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Group CEO, Ola.

The service will first launch in the Karnataka capital and it will expand across India in the coming weeks, Aggarwal added.
