Digital Desk: Ukraine's military intelligence reported on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces had killed a Russian general Andrei Sukhovetsky in the besieged city of Kharkiv. This is the second Russian senior commander who gets killed in the invasion. According to a statement from Ukraine's defence ministry's Chief Directorate of Intelligence, Major General Vitaly Gerasimov, the first deputy commander of Russia's 41st Army, was killed on Monday. Earlier, towards the end of February, Andrei Sukhovetsky, a deputy commander of the 41st Army, was killed by the Ukrainian forces, according to reports. Meanwhile, Ukraine claims to have killed over 11,000 Russian soldiers, whereas Russia has confirmed over 500 casualties. Although, neither side has revealed the number of Ukrainian casualties.
