Digital Desk: Trying to invade one's privacy is as unpleasant to the ordinary individual as it is to a celebrity. And recently, we saw an example of this when a person tried to take a photo of the legendary star Neena Gupta without her permission. In her most recent social media post, the actress sarcastically criticizes such people.
Neena took to Instagram on Thursday to share a short video of herself enjoying the India Art Festival at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai. A person was trying to take a photo of her without her permission over there. In the video, the actress can be heard saying, "Log bina pooche photo le lete hain, main toh public property hun. Koi baat nahi, hun (people click my pictures without asking me). I am public property. Let it be, I am)".
Netizens praised the actress in the comments section, as one user wrote, "What a daring turnaround!". "Wow!!! You look super awesome, @neena_gupta ji ❤️," another user commented. "I like your cool approach, you are a great example to follow," another user wrote. Moreover, several netizens complimented the actors' sense of style.
On the work front, the 90s actor has been in a slump since 2018. She has featured in a number of films in the past four years, including Badhaai Ho (for which she received multiple Best Actress critics' awards), Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Goodbye, and Uunchai, among others.
After beginning her second stint in Bollywood, the actor has established her position in the era of OTTs as well. She garnered love and appreciation when she co-starred on the Netflix series Masaba Masaba with her real-life daughter Masaba Gupta. Moreover, audiences all over the world praised and loved Neena's performance of Manju Devi in the Prime Video series Panchayat.
