Digital Desk: Director Jaspal Singh Sandhu received a lot of appreciation for his most recent film, 'Vadh,' which starred Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra. He is also recognized for films like 'Angrej' and 'Vekh Baraatan Chalkiyan,' and now his next film will be a grief comedy set in the 1950s.
Jaspal Singh Sandhu revealed more details about the movie when he told a news website, "I'm now working on two scripts, one of which is mostly a grief horror and quite dark. It's a different genre with a strong script rather than your typical horror film. Since I personally like this project, I'm very looking forward to it. It is set in the 1950s, and I wrote it in hard times. The other one, on which I've completed working, is based on a real-life character. Then, let's see which one touches the ground first."
Talking about the Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra starrer ‘Vadh’ and the possibilities of ‘Vadh 2,’ the director said, "Vadh has an open ending. We had considered filming certain scenes in the first part. But later, we changed our minds and gave the movie an open ending. After receiving positive feedback from both critics and audiences, we intend to create a sequel that includes all of those components and is also more dramatic, thrilling, and innovative. We do need to come up with another story. Additionally, there would be more suspenseful storytelling and dramatic performances. Although I am a little excited, we'll see what happens."
"We had already penned down some thoughts for the sequel, which seemed good. Actually, Vadh came into being from a one-line idea and a similar thing is likely to happen with the sequel," he added.
