Darling Film Teaser: In the upcoming film Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah plays the game of life like pros

The dark comedy, starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew, explores the lives of a mother-daughter duo.

Digital Desk: In their new movie, Darlings, Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah promise to take the audience on an exciting journey. The teaser for their eagerly anticipated project contains all the ingredients for a sensual journey through desires and dreams and the lengths these two women will go to advance their interests.

The Darlings trailer introduces us to the world of mother-daughter combo Shefali and Alia, who have modest lives. The environment around them, however, is deceiving. 

Nevertheless, they are strong women who will do whatever it takes to survive in this male-dominated world.

Alia uploaded the teaser video on Instagram, captioning it, "It's just a tease Darlings."

They appear to be in love with one other, but Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew are wary of each other's influence in their life. They have no idea that Alia and Shefali are using them as pieces in a wider game.

The two female leads are being investigated for what appears to be a murder. However, they contend that since they only "killed the victim in their thoughts," they are innocent. 

The two entertainers are ready to provide a jam-packed performance with everything from humour to eccentricity. Alia tells the famous tale of a scorpion and a frog crossing a river in the teaser. She suggests a creature's fundamental character, which is constant in all circumstances.

Darlings billed as a dark comedy that follows a mother-daughter team as they struggle to fit in Mumbai. They struggle against all difficulties while looking for courage and love in difficult situations.

Director Jasmeet K Reen makes his full-length feature film debut with Darlings, a project produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma. Gulzar wrote the lyrics, and Vishal Bharadwaj provided the music.

Alia had finished filming for Darlings in September 2021. She had a busy year with the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi and her marriage to Ranbir Kapoor.
