Ranbir Kapoor's film Shamshera to be screened on 4350 screens, first Hindi film to reach this milestone post-pandemic

There will be 4,350 screens displaying Shamshera. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt.

Digital Desk: Shamshera marks Ranbir Kapoor's return to the big screen after a long four years. People have high expectations for the actor and his film Shamshera because he returns after a pause of four years.

The actor and his co-stars, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, went all out to promote the film, directed by Karan Malhotra. Shamshera's producers have now ensured that the film reaches many people across the country.

Shamshera will be shown on 4,350 screens in India. After the pandemic, it is also the first Hindi film to achieve this feat.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh updated Shamshera's screen count on his Twitter account. Shamshera will be released on a more significant number of screens across the country than films like Samrat Prithviraj, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Sooryavanshi, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

    Check out Adarsh's tweet reading, "#Xclusiv... YRF GOES ALL OUT FOR ‘SHAMSHERA’ HAS HIGHEST SCREEN COUNT, *POST-PANDEMIC* #Shamshera: 4350 #SamratPrithviraj: 3750 #83TheFilm: 3741 #Sooryavanshi: 3519 #BhoolBhulaiyaa2: 3200 Jayeshbhai Jordaar: 2250 NOTE: #India screen count. HINDI films."

Shamshera is expected to earn between Rs 15 and Rs 20 crore on its opening day, according to Taran Adarsh.

"Ideally, the first day will bring in between Rs 15 and 20 crore. That is very significant. For the first day, it is a respectable total. Because of the pandemic's aftermath, the current situation is very different. It must rise to that standard. It's crucial for both YRF and Ranbir. YRF suffered three consecutive failures. I hope they are fortunate the fourth time because it started with Bunty Aur Babli 2, then Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and most recently Samrat Prithviraj," he added.

The motion picture's upcoming film Shamshera will debut on July 22, 2022.
