Digital Desk: Strangers’ ‘kissing’ has suddenly become a bizarre modern dating craze in China. The South China Morning Post (SCMP) said that the trend's Mandarin name is "zui you". In English, it means "mouth friends."
According to SCMP, the "mouth buddy" regulations only permit kissing; people are not permitted to form romantic relationships or even meet for a second date.
Social media is buzzing with this most recent fad, and many young people are indulging in the practice of asking strangers for kisses.
It received mixed reviews from teenagers; some said, "mouth buddies" was fine for those who weren't looking for something serious, while others warned that it might be emotionally dangerous and lead to self-harm.
