New Delhi: Online food delivery has become one of the most preferred options for people to have good meals in today's world, especially after the pandemic outbreak. On a great note, Uber Eats made its first food delivery to space at the International Space Station.
Food delivery agents and companies are doing their best in fulfilling all your demands. Uber Eats Japan has hopped into space to expand its delivery services. And it's true.
Sources stated that Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa, even defined as a "delivery superfan," served as the delivery agent for eight hours and 34 minutes into his 12-day orbit in space. After traveling 248 miles, he floated into the ISS on December 11 at 9:40 a.m.

Uber Eats Japan posted a video of the food delivery on its Twitter page. You can see Maezawa providing an Uber Eats brown paper bag to ISS commander Anton Shkaplerov. Maezawa was dressed in a white T-shirt, shorts, and an Uber Eats cap.
The post read, "Uber Eats delivery continues to evolve. One after another to places that are not delivering now."
Sources stated that the food parcel had a space-appropriate meal of ready-to-eat canned Japanese meals. It had mackerel simmered in miso, chicken and bamboo shoots, braised pork, and a Japanese beef bowl.
Uber Eats also offers $10 off $20+ orders to the first 24,800 people with promo code SPACE FOOD to mark the celebration of covering the distance from Earth to the ISS. The promo is available from December 13-19, 2021.
