Digital Desk: The advantages of learning a new language are numerous. It not only improves your communication skills but also gives you a competitive advantage over others. Diana Mickeviciene, the Lithuanian ambassador to India, has studied Hindi and Sanskrit and was recently interviewed in Hindi by the news agency ANI.
She revealed, "It is tough for me to discuss important issues. But I can communicate. I studied Sanskrit for two years. Yet at our university, that is a sacred language. I learned to read, write, and interpret, but I never learned to talk."
Ms Mickeviciene went on to say, "Hindi...I can communicate in a limited amount of Hindi. I learned Hindi two or three times but promptly forgot it. This time I've come to India intending to focus on studying Hindi. Maybe in six months, I'll be able to do an entire interview in Hindi."
The video's title states, "Delhi: Ambassador of Lithuania to India Diana Mickeviciene speaks in Hindi on how she learned Hindi."
