What! Candy Company is Offering over 60 Lakh a Year for a 'Chief Candy Officer'
Interested candidates have until August 31 to apply. When hired, the new CCO will get intensive palate training in addition to other on-the-job training,  the business said.

Digital Desk: A Canadian candy company is looking to hire a qualified taster, offering a salary of up to $100,000 (more than 60 lakh) annually. Candy Funhouse, a candy retailer, revealed last month that it is searching for a "Chief candy officer" to oversee its "Candyologists."

The Ontario-based company announced the position's availability on Instagram and noted that applicants must be at least five years old. According to a press release, the selected candidate will be in charge of conducting business board meetings, conducting taste tests on about 3,500 products each month, and approving new candy inventories with the "CCO seal of approval."

Separately, Candy Funhouse stated in a LinkedIn post that applicants should have an unwavering excitement and readiness to enjoy confectionary items, which is a characteristic that one can confidently claim applies to a sizable portion of the public. They added that they are seeking a fearless, imaginative, naturally born leader who is open to experimenting with new ideas.

If you're an American or Canadian resident, you can work from Newark, New Jersey, whereas Canadian residents must work from Toronto. The CCO will be in charge of choosing which new candy products Candy Funhouse would stock, making it a "real candy business," the company claimed.

The job description stated, "All you need is a passion for confectionery, pop culture, and a sweet tooth!"

Anyone five years of age or older may apply, and no prior experience is necessary. Interested candidates have until August 31 to apply. When hired, the new CCO will get intensive palate training in addition to other on-the-job training,  the business said.
