"To be clear, I support the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party," he tweeted. And shortly after this tweet, he said, "Also, I'm buying Manchester United ur welcome."
Although it's impossible to tell how serious Musk is when it comes to his tweets, Manchester United is buzzing about the possibility of this news.
Manchester United fans have been asking for the departure of the club's current American owners, the Glazer family, due to the club's poor performance in recent years.
Musk's tweet, which was published not long ago, drew a huge response.
