    Singer-rapper Aaron Carter passes away at 34, cause of death unknown

    Digital Desk: Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, has died. He was 34. Carter was discovered dead in his bath at his Lancaster, California, home on Saturday morning, according to TMZ. His death was confirmed by his representatives.

    When police officers got to Carter's house around 10.58 AM, they discovered a body. According to AFP, they were unable to publicly identify the individual. His team stated that the situation was "very awful at the moment, and we're trying to understand out what happened and what the cause of it was."     "My fiance Aaron Carter has passed away. I love Aaron with all my heart and it’s going to be a journey to raise a son without a father. Please respect the privacy of my family as we come to terms with the loss of someone we love greatly. We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated," his fiance Melanie Martin told TMZ.

    The rapper and performer was born in Tampa, Florida On December 7, 1987. Aaron's Party, a popular record, helped him gain recognition (Come Get It). Three million copies were sold. He performed on tour with the renowned group Backstreet Boys. At the juvenile age of nine, in 1997, Carter published his debut album; he had started performing at the age of seven.

    Carter, however, encountered several difficulties and frequently entered rehab. In 2013, he also filed for bankruptcy due to massive debt, much of it tax-related. Earlier this year, Carter also stated to the Daily Mail that he no longer desired to be viewed as a "train disaster."

    Prince, his 11-month-old son, is Aaron Carter's only surviving child.
