This year, the Raksha Bandhan Bhadra Poonch will last from 5:30 pm to 6:31 pm on August 30, while the Raksha Bandhan Bhadra Mukha will begin at 6:31 pm and end at 8:11 pm on August 30. The Poornima Tithi (Full Moon) begins on August 30 at 10:58 a.m. and ends on August 31 at 7:05 a.m.

According to mythology, Lord Krishna accidentally cut his finger on the Sudarshan Chakra.
