The AAP leader declared that the President's Rule would be illegal, unconstitutional, and against the will of the people..............
Digital desk: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi minister Atishi stated on Friday that the BJP-led central government will impose President's Rule in Delhi, noting that the party has received multiple signals to that effect.
The AAP leader declared that the President's Rule would be illegal, unconstitutional, and against the will of the people, given the government led by Arvind Kejriwal's huge majority.
“Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested in a fake case and that too without any proof because there is a conspiracy to topple the elected government of Delhi. when we see a few things from the past, it shows that there has been a well-thought conspiracy going on," Atishi said in a press conference at the party headquarters on April 12.
Atishi reiterated that the President's Rule will be "illegal, unconstitutional, and against the mandate of the people," and that the Arvind Kejriwal-led government carries a "overwhelming majority."
She also mentioned in the press conference, "Let me warn the BJP that imposing President's rule in Delhi will be illegal, unconstitutional, and against the mandate of the people of Delhi. The people of Delhi have given a clear mandate to Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party."
She added that despite vacancies in several agencies, prominent IAS officers' postings in Delhi have remained unchanged for a couple of months. "Posts are lying vacant in departments but no postings have taken place. Bureaucrats have stopped attending meetings called by ministers, citing the Model Code of Conduct," she said.
According to her, for the last week “the LG has been writing baseless letters to MHA and the CM's secretary has also been removed. This all shows the conspiracy that is going on to topple the Delhi government”.
She further claimed that the dismissal of Kejriwal's secretary was part of the "conspiracy".
All of these charges have been denied by the BJP. "The party is cooking up manohar kahaani (entertaining stories) daily. They are alleging that officials are not being appointed, but since September the Chief Minister has not met the Lieutenant General", BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana said in an interview with NDTV.

In the meantime, Kejriwal has asked the Supreme Court to review the Delhi High Court's decision to dismiss his appeal against his detention in the excise policy violations case. The Enforcement Directorate detained him on March 21 about the Delhi excise policy case.
