Mumbai: According to the recent update in connection with the drug bust case in Mumbai, Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has reportedly confessed during her interrogation to the Narcotics Control Bureau that she is aware about someone who supplied drugs on one or two occasions to Shah Rukh Khan’s son Arayan Khan.
Sources also say that on Friday, the NCB has interrogated a house help of a very ‘famous person’ in relation to this. The person who is around 24 years old is believed to have supplied drugs to Aryan Khan under the instructions of Ananya Panday. The person has been detained by the NCB from the Malad area in Mumbai for investigation. His mobile phone has been confiscated. His questioning is likely to continue on Monday.
Earlier, Panday was summoned by the NCB for interrogation on Thursday and Friday after her name surfaced in a WhatsApp chat of one of the accused in the drug bust case also involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. Interestingly, there are reports that on both the occasions she was rebuked by NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede for reaching late to their office. She was also clarified that she was there for questioning and not for a film shoot or a production house.

The NCB also retrieved WhatsApp chats between Ananya and Aryan where Ananya agreed to arrange ‘ganja’ for the star kid. However, when the NCB officials questioned her about this and showed her the chat messages, Ananya in her reply said that she was just ‘joking’. Further, she also stated that she is not a supplier of drugs or has any idea about the difference between weed and ganja.
A source from the NCB has said that they are going deeper into this and thoroughly investigating this drugs nexus. They also said that the probe is not just limited to WhatsApp messages, but they are also digging into the involvement of an international supply chain drug suppliers and consumes.
