Digital Desk:  Sandeep Dikshit, a former Congress MP, filed a case against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the Nizamuddin Police Station on Monday, accusing him of making false statements about his administration saving millions of dollars on flyover construction and deceiving voters for political benefit.

Dikshit charged Kejriwal of cheating and promoting slander against other political figures to sway voters in the five states' recent Assembly elections and the impending MCD elections. He claimed that Kejriwal deceived voters into getting a political advantage.

"In an interview, Mr. Kejriwal said that his government would be able to save a significant amount of money because of his honesty, which was then spent on welfare workers and welfare programs. He implied that the former government was unethical by making this accusation "Read the complaint carefully.

He claimed that the chief minister made another fraudulent claim. He claimed that a couple of the works were completed for less money because of his honesty, even though the projects' anticipated costs were very high.
