Digital Desk: The Delhi Police's Special Police Unit For North Eastern Region (SPUNER) rescued a 37-year-old Assamese woman who had been trafficked to the national capital.
The woman was transported from Assam to Delhi on the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, according to police.
SPUNER employees promptly organised a team upon receiving the information and proceeded to New Delhi Railway Station Platform No. 16.

After a comprehensive investigation and at least one hour of observation, the SPUNER team was able to track down the trafficking woman from AC-Tier 3 Rajdhani Express.
Further investigation found that the victim had befriended a man from Rajasthan via WhatsApp, and the two of them were planned to travel to Rajasthan via New Delhi.
After the 37-year-old Assamese woman was rescued, SPUNER employees communicated with the SHO and the New Delhi Railway Station, and the woman was handed over to the Nari Niketan, Bapnu Ghar, Bhagwan Das Road Authority.
The SPUNER staff had also informed the brother of the victim who reached Delhi and reunited with his sister.
