    ECI announces bye-elections in 13 assembly seats in 7 states on 10 July
    The Election Commission emphasized that these by-elections must conclude before July 15.

    Digital Desk: The Election Commission on Monday declared that by-polls in 13 assembly constituencies spread across seven states, including four in West Bengal on July 10. These by-elections are necessitated by vacancies resulting from the passing away or resignation of sitting members.

    The assembly seats up for by-elections include Rupauli (Bihar), Raiganj, Ranaghat Dakshin, Bagda, and Maniktala (all in West Bengal), Vikravandi (Tamil Nadu), Amarwara (Madhya Pradesh), Badrinath and Manglaur (Uttarakhand), Jalandhar West (Punjab), and Dehra, Hamirpur, and Nalagarh (Himachal Pradesh).

    The official notification for the elections will be issued on June 14, with the deadline for filing nomination papers set for June 21.

    Scrutiny of the submitted papers will occur on June 24, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until June 26. Polling will be held on July 10, and vote counting will take place on July 13.

    The Election Commission emphasized that these by-elections must conclude before July 15.
