According to Amit Shah, a postal stamp commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the SSB Raising Day has been distributed by the government.

Digital Desk: Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's direction, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Saturday that the nation will be completely free of the Naxalism issue over the next three years.

"I think that the country will totally eradicate the Naxalism problem in the next three years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership," Mr. Shah stated on Saturday at the 60th Raising Day of Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) in Tezpur, Assam.

Acknowledging the valor exhibited by the SSB in combating Naxalism, Amit Shah stated that the SSB, in conjunction with the CRPF and the BSF, has effectively marginalized the Naxal movement.

"Along with protecting the border of friendly countries of Nepal and Bhutan, the SSB has fought against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar. I have heard of your bravery whenever I have gone on review of Naxal operations in these areas," Shah said.

As the Union Home Minister put it, "In Jammu and Kashmir, the SSB has laid down their lives while fighting together with the CRPF, BSF, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian Army against terrorists. She was speaking about the SSB's involvement in ending terrorism in the region."

According to Amit Shah, a postal stamp commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the SSB Raising Day has been distributed by the government.

"The Indian government also unveiled a postal stamp today in honor of Sashatra Seema Bal's 60th Raising Day. It will indefinitely preserve the SSB's commitment to duty in the eyes of the nation's citizens."

According to Shah, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and other organizations are among the several Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) for which the central government has taken various actions to ensure their wellbeing.

"In the last nine years, Prime Minister Modi has taken several steps for the welfare of all the CAPFs, be it CRPF or all the other organizations deployed on the border like the SSB," Shah stated.

"The SSB has a rich history of being immersed in the service and protection of our country. The Security Service of Bengal (SSB) was founded in 1963 following the India-China War. Following the implementation of the 'One Border One Force' policy by Atal ji (the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee), SSB has been faithfully guarding the borders between India and Nepal since 2001 and with Bhutan since 2004," Shah remarked discussing the organization's past.

Along with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Union Home Minister attended the 60th Raising Day of Sashatra Seema Bal at the SSB Complex in Tezpur.
