Digital Desk: In addition to a report, the assassination of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi in his Jaipur house on Tuesday, December 5, prompted political unrest two days after the Congress lost the Rajasthan assembly election to the BJP.

The Karni Sena declared a bandh in Rajasthan over the murder on Wednesday, claiming that it was the Congress' retaliation for losing the state.

The BJP's national spokesperson, Shehzad Poonawala, posted a video of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi claiming that police had alerted Congress CM Ashok Gehlot of Gogamedi's security danger.

The grisly murder of the Karni Sena chief was caught on CCTV video. Three bikers fired bullets at Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi's Jaipur home on Tuesday.

As per reports, one of Gogamedi's security men was shot during his reaction. One of the three attackers was killed in the crossfire. According to police, the attacker was shot by Gogamedi's security guards before being slain by his accomplices. After the election results were revealed on December 3 and the incumbent Congress was defeated by the BJP, Gogamedi wrote on X that the Congress was defeated because it ignored the Karni Sena.

According to Rajasthan Police, the murder was done by the Rohit Godara gang. Rohit Godara is intimately affiliated with the Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi gangs.

As per Gogamedi's supporters, a statewide shutdown has been threatened if action is not taken in response to his death.

During the period when the BJP was forming a new government, all important political leaders, including Ashok Gehlot of the Congress, Sachin Pilot of the BJP, and Rajyavardhan Rathore of the RJD, denounced the killing.

Supriya Shrinate, a Congress leader, declared a return to jungle raj as soon as the BJP took control. However, the BJP has yet to pick a candidate for the position of chief minister, and the Congress currently controls the state's caretaker administration.

On December 3, Shehzad Poonawala claimed that 'Congress sources' informed him that the Congress intended to retaliate against Rajasthan by fabricating and fabricating stories and assigning various mafia and anti-social elements to commit crimes to poison the atmosphere and cast a negative light on Rajasthan.
