Digital Desk: From September 2021 to March this year, the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has declared a 'drought of a moderate nature' across the whole state.

The declaration of drought would take effect on September 15, 2021, and would last for six months, until further order, according to the NSDMA statement, based on the lack of, deficiency, and below-normal rainfall reported from March to November 2021.
