Rahul Gandhi to kick-start Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to begin from Manipur’s Thoubal today
During this yatra, the party will highlight issues like unemployment, price rise, and social justice and try to establish cooperation with the people.

Digital Desk:  The Bharat Jodo  Nyay Yatra will begin in the country under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from Manipur on Sunday. The yatra will be flagged off from private ground in Thoubal district, Manipur.

A day before the yatra, the congress asserted that the yatra was not a motive of the election but an ideological one and was against the 10-year “unjust period” of the Narendra Modi government.

During this yatra, the party will highlight issues like unemployment, price rise, and social justice and try to establish cooperation with the people.

Amidst violence-hit Manipur, the Manipur government had given conditional approval to the congress to flag off the march from palace ground in the state. The Thoubal district administration has also imposed certain restrictions such as the tenure should not be more than an hour and the number of participants should not exceed over 3000.

The Bharat Jodo  Nyay Yatra will pass through  100 Lok Sabha constituencies in 15 states and the party hopes that it will prove to be as transformative as Rahul Gandhi’s earlier cross-country march.

According to Congress, the purpose of starting this yatra is to raise people’s issues in parliament and to re-establish the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution.

This journey of Bharat Jodo  Nyay Yatra will cover 6,713 km of the country. The yatra will cover 110 districts in 67 days and will conclude in March in Mumbai, Maharastra.
