Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief of the State Police Force Akhilesh Yadav are prepared to do significant roadshows today. Priyanka Gandhi, a Congress leader, hosted a roadshow on Thursday evening in which she aimed at the BJP over the issue of stray cattle in the state.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Gorakhpur Urban and state Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu of Tamkuhi Raj were among the 676 contestants for 57 seats spread over 10 districts in this phase.
At 11:45 p.m., the Election Commission's app reported a turnout of 55.56 per cent, with the official figure due on Friday. The election control centre of the state's home department estimated a turnout of 55.79 per cent.
