'Want Child to be Born With Ram Lalla’s Arrival': Pregnant Women's Special Request to Hospital
The department head, Dr Seema Dwivedi, disclosed that several families had requested that their children be born on this important day.

Digital Desk: In a first-of-its-kind, all expecting mothers are pleading with medical professionals at a government hospital in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, to plan their deliveries for January 22, which falls on the same day as the Ayodhya Ram temple's consecration ceremony.

The department head, Dr Seema Dwivedi, disclosed that several families had requested that their children be born on this important day. Every day, between 14 and 15 families seek delivery in the labor room, with a focus on January 22. Seema Dwivedi stated, "We have informed those who need surgery that the dates can be changed within a reasonable timeframe, even though we cannot guarantee normal deliveries."

Nonetheless, Dr. Dwivedi stated that in order to meet demand, the hospital has scheduled about 30 procedures for January 22. The hospital operates 14–15 times a day on average.

Aspirations were voiced by families, who emphasized that they wanted their babies to arrive on the historic day of the Ram Temple's consecration.

"We desire for the arrival of Ram Lalla in our homes to coincide with the birth of our child. We have been waiting for the Ram Temple for 100 years, and it will be a wonderful moment when our child enters the world," a family member of a woman whose delivery date is almost close to January 22 told India Today.

Psychotherapist Divya Gupta told news agency PTI that many feel that an auspicious birth date has a beneficial effect on the nature of the kid, which explains why pregnant women push for January 22 as their delivery day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to take part in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla's idol in Ayodhya on January 22 as the first phase of the Ram temple nears completion.

One week prior to the major event, on January 16, the vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla (baby Lord Ram) are supposed to begin.

In the meantime, a 51-inch-tall Krishna Shila (Shyam Varn) idol of Lord Ram has been handpicked for the forthcoming Pran-Pratishtha ritual.

The head of the Ram temple construction committee, Nripendra Mishra, said in an exclusive interview with India Today TV that the new statue of Ram Lalla, to be named "Utsav Ram," will be erected before the existing one. Both statues are scheduled to be installed in the rebuilt Ram Mandir after January 16.
