To find out who exactly was in the mob that attacked the ED team, the police have also started looking into the case.

Digital Desk: In relation to the attack on an Enforcement Directorate on Friday, January 5, the West Bengal police on Saturday independently filed three First Information Reports (FIRs).

To find out who exactly was in the mob that attacked the ED team, the police have also started looking into the case.

According to the police, the first formal complaint was made in response to a complaint made by representatives of the probe agency, who claimed that while their team was en route to raid several places connected to a purported ration distribution scam, they were ambushed by a rabble-rousing mob in Sandeshkhali, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The paramilitary personnel in the center were escorting the ED team.

The neighborhood's concerns that ED officials were stirring up trouble in the neighborhood led to the filing of a second FIR.

A second look at the matter is currently under progress.
