Digital Desk: Badruddin Ajmal, the leader of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), slammed Congress for not inviting him to the opposition coalition (India) meeting in Delhi. He claimed that efforts to unite the opposition had failed. 

Badruddin Ajmal stated to the news agency ANI, "We were not called in the INDIA Alliance meeting... They (Congress) behaved according to their will in the three states and the result is out."

Ajmal further added, "They refused to let Nitish Kumar, Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Pawar, or Didi (Mamata Banerjee) in. The Congress fought alone because they wanted to establish that they were the only party in India that could rule... Who will be present at the meeting on December 6th? Based on reports, Didi will not be present. Many more prominent leaders will not be present... (The aim at opposition unity) has completely failed... If asked, I will attend the INDIA Alliance meeting... They should proceed while keeping everyone united. PM Modi talks about 'Sabka Vikas'. You (Congress) should do the same. Everyone should be respected. "Why isn't Congress doing it?"

"The coordination meeting of the parliamentary party leaders of (constituent parties) of the Indian Alliance will be held on 6 December 2023 at 6 pm at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge," said Gurdeep Sappal, an associate in the office of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, on Twitter. 

Following that, "a meeting of party presidents/prominent leaders will be planned in the third week of December on a date that is convenient for all," Sappal stated.

Congress has been questioned frequently after the defeat, Nitish Kumar's JDU in Bihar claimed that the Congress made a mistake by contesting assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh without consulting the "India" coalition allies. 

Reportedly, As of now, three India Alliance meetings have taken place in Patna, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. A 14-member coordination committee was constituted during a recent meeting of the leaders of the alliance's constituent parties in Mumbai to prepare an outline of the alliance's future programmes.
