Digital Desk: Congress called for the next Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) partners' meeting in New Delhi on December 6 as the BJP crossed the halfway mark in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, and edged past the ruling Congress in Chhattisgarh as well on Sunday morning.

The meeting was announced to the coalition partners, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Trinamool Congress, and Indian National Congress (INC), by party head Mallikarjun Kharge over the phone.

A few days following the announcement of the results of the elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram, the meeting is scheduled to take place. The results of the December 3 polls are a vital precursor to the Lok Sabha elections of the following year, which makes the upcoming INDIA conference noteworthy.

The Indian National Congress is the leader of the coalition of large-scale political parties known as INDIA. It was established to challenge the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It was created in July 2023 in Bengaluru during a gathering of opposition parties.

The chief ministers of five states, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi attended the most recent opposition gathering, which was thrown by Uddhav Thackeray, the president of the Shiv Sena (UBT). The coalition passed a three-point resolution to contest the general elections in India in 2024 "as far as possible" and reviewed important electoral concerns for the next general elections throughout the course of the two-day deliberations. They also established the coordination committee.
