Delhi Liquor Scam: Manish Sisodia claims BJP offered to close all cases if he joins their party
The CBI conducted a raid on the AAP leader's home on Friday due to allegations of corruption in the Delhi Excise Policy 2021–2022.

Digital Desk: The deputy chief minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia alleged on Monday that the BJP had approached him and offered to drop all charges against him if he joined their party.

Sisodia declared that all of the accusations made against him were false and that he would never surrender to "conspirators and corrupt people."

In an FIR filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection to suspected anomalies in the application of the Delhi excise policy, Sisodia is one of 15 people and companies mentioned.

I got a message from the BJP saying to leave the AAP and join them. We'll see to it that all CBI and ED cases brought against you are dismissed.

Taking Twitter he wrote in Hindi, "My response to the BJP is that I am a Rajput and a descendent of Maharana Pratap. I'm willing to be executed, but I can never submit to spies and dishonest people. Every accusation made against me is untrue. Do anything you want to do."

The CBI conducted a raid on the AAP leader's home on Friday due to allegations of corruption in the Delhi Excise Policy 2021–2022.

He has emphasised that the prosecution of him is an attempt to stop the good job being done by the Arvind Kejriwal-led government and to place impediments in the way of the AAP chief, who has emerged as a challenger to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
