Digital Desk: A day after the Opposition front of 26 parties chose I.N.D.I.A as its name, Jeetega Bharat (India shall win) has been finalized as the coalition's tagline that aims to take on the BJP in the 2024 general election.

The final choice on the tagline was made after extensive consultations late last night. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, now the chief of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), suggested that the Opposition Alliance have a Hindi tagline.

The name I.N.D.I.A (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) was finalized yesterday during the Opposition's two-day summit in Bengaluru.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stated that the 2024 Lok Sabha election will be a "Modi versus I.N.D.I.A" battle. "The battle is between the NDA and the I.N.D.I.A., between Narendra Modi and the I.N.D.I.A., between his ideology and the I.N.D.I.A." "India always wins all fights," Gandhi added.

While the opposition gathered in Bengaluru, the BJP staged a rival show of strength in Delhi, with leaders from 39 different parties.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Opposition, claiming that alliances "built on negativity have never won." "When an alliance is dynastic and corrupt, the country will lose," he said. To challenge the I.N.D.I.A name, the Prime Minister spoke of "Bharat" and claimed that the NDA represented the poor and backward classes.

The Opposition's decision to develop a slogan centered on "Bharat" looks to be an attempt to blunt the BJP's "Bharat vs India" line of attack.

The name I.N.D.I.A., according to opposition leaders, was the outcome of extensive brainstorming.

West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee yesterday announced the name, saying, "BJP, can you challenge INDIA?" We love our motherland, we are patriotic citizens of the country, we support farmers and Dalits, we support the country and the world... BJP will lose, INDIA will triumph, and our nation will triumph."
