Digital Desk: The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) on Sunday has confirmed the location of the Arunachal Pradesh's missing boy. A boy from Arunachal Pradesh crossed over the Line of Actual Control and went missing lately.
Chinese PLA had a conversation with the Indian Army regarding the matter. In a communication, the Chinese PLA stated that the missing boy from Arunachal Pradesh had been found and sent back after necessary verification of formalities.
The Indian Army confirms the Chinese claim and finds out whether the boy is the same as reported missing. The Indian Army had aspired service of the PLA on Thursday to find the lost boy, identified as Miram Taron, on their side and return him as per the specified protocol.
When the Indian Army got the news concerning Taron, the Army had stated that it directly reached the PLA through the set hotline mechanism, reporting that a person collecting spices and hunting had misplaced his route and could not be located.
Earlier, it was alleged that the Chinese PLA had kidnapped the boy. In a tweet on Wednesday, Arunachal Pradesh parliamentarian Tapir Gao had claimed: "Chinese PLA has abducted Sh Miram Taron, 17 years of Zido vill. yesterday 18th Jan 2022 from inside Indian territory, Lungta Jor area (China-built 3-4 kms road inside India in 2018) under Siyungla area (Bushing village) of Upper Siang dist, Arunachal Pradesh."
It was discovered that Taron's buddy Johny Yaiying, who managed to flee, notified the officers regarding the abduction by the PLA.
Gao stated the incident happened near the Tsangpo river joining India in Arunachal Pradesh. He had asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others to secure the early getaway of the kidnapped boy.
In this incident, Congress attacked the government for inactivity in the whole matter.
