Digital Desk: Former Assam Youth Congress president Angkita Dutta is set to make a significant political shift by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on January 28, according to sources.
Alongside her, three other prominent leaders—former Congress MLA Bismita Gogoi, ex-president of All Assam Student Union (AASU) Dipanka Nath, and former AASU vice-president Prakash Das—are also expected to join the BJP on the same day.

On January 18, despite her efforts to meet Rahul Gandhi and seek justice, her attempts were in vain as Gandhi's convoy passed without granting her an audience.
