IPS Anand Mishra appointed as AIGP(Sports)

Digital Desk: The Assam Police Department has assigned Anand Mishra the role of Assistant Inspector General of Police (Sports) in Guwahati.

Mishra was transferred to Assam Police Headquarters after being posted as Superintendent of Police in Nagaon.

“In the interest of public service, Shri Anand Mishra, IPS (RR – 2011), Superintendent of Police, currently attached to Assam Police Headquarters is posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Sports), Assam, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over the charge against the existing vacancy,” said a notification issued by the home department.
