All eight people have been handed up to the Train Protection Force (RPF) at the Kamakhya railway station in Guwahati, according to Alok Sharma, a 24 battalion official.
The victims are from the Daranga Kalipur area of Baksa district in Assam and were kidnapped and taken to Gujarat by a group under the guise of offering jobs.

"We have rescued eight individuals from Gujarat, including minor girls and minor boys, and hauled them in the Gandhidham express from Gujarat to Guwahati," SSB's Alok Sharma informed media.
"The rescued individuals are members of an impoverished family who live in Assam's border areas. A group lead had duped the people by a woman named Manjana. "The victims' families demanded that we assist them, and we have finally saved them," Alok Sharma expressed.
The victims' families had filed complaints at the Kumarikata police station in Baksa district against the gang.
