Chief Minister to Campaign Across Multiple States Ahead of Upcoming Elections

The Assam Chief Minister will be leaving for the neighbouring state of Odisha tomorrow

Digital Desk: The Assam Chief Minister will be embarking on a multi-state campaign tour starting tomorrow, as the country gears up for a series of upcoming elections. Sarma will join Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for a significant political step, launching a campaign trail in Odisha on May 9.  Chief Minister to Visit Odisha, West Bengal, and Telangana.

Sarma is well-known across Assam's political landscape. His objective is to address public gatherings at numerous critical sites. Malkangiri Khallikote and Chitrakonda are included. Gadkari is also concentrating on rallying support in other regions, The Sentinal reports.

Odisha Campaign

The Assam Chief Minister will be leaving for the neighbouring state of Odisha tomorrow, where he will attend several election campaign meetings. The popular Chief Minister's Odisha visit is seen as a crucial move to garner support and reach out to voters in the state. Puri and Krushnaprasad are his primary focus areas.

West Bengal Campaign

Following the Odisha visit, CM Sarma will travel to West Bengal on Friday to participate in the election campaign there. The Chief Minister is expected to spend several days in West Bengal, addressing public rallies and interacting with local party workers and supporters.

Telangana Campaign

The Chief Minister's campaign trail will then move to Telangana, where he is scheduled to campaign on Saturday. Sarma’s presence in Telangana is aimed at bolstering the party's chances in the upcoming elections in the state.

This campaign initiative follows Sarma's recent engagement in the Assam Lok Sabha elections, where he expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct and high voter turnout.
