The injured man, identified as Subodh Kumar Singh was attacked by a group of individuals in front of the Maa Bagalamukhi Temple.
Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, a resident of the Kamakhya Temple area was attacked by a group of miscreants on April 20, leading to minor injuries during the incident.
The injured man, identified as Subodh Kumar Singh was attacked by a group of individuals in front of the Maa Bagalamukhi Temple.
Singh alleged that a group of 15 individuals followed him while he was on his way to Kamakhya Temple. He then went to visit Maa Bagalamukhi Temple and Bhuvaneshwary Temple and the group continued to follow him.
The group then attacked him and left him injured in front of the Maa Bagalamukhi Temple.
Following a complaint by Singh, Kamakhya Police started investigating the incident and arrested six individuals. They were later handed over to the Jalukbari Police for further investigation.
The six people arrested by the Kamakhya Police in connection with the case were Kishor Rajbangshi, Manoj Kalita, Rupak Kalita, Pradip Rajbangshi, Bipul Dutta, and Pankaj Dutta.
As per report, the arrested individuals were the drivers of Eeco Van.
