I thought I’d never sing again...
Digital Desk:
In the meantime, SRH, who defeated the Punjab Kings on Sunday (April 9) and earned their first victory of the IPL 2023, will aim to advance in the points table.
Digital Desk: When uncapped Rinku Singh smashed 5 consecutive sixes in the final over of the Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) game against Gujarat Titans (GT), the result was a thrilling victory for KKR. The last game marked the season debut of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who also achieved their first victory of the year. Today (April 14) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, KKR and SRH will square off, and both IPL champion sides hope to maintain their winning ways in the remaining games. They can probably anticipate a similar conclusion today as well. Kolkata's crowd has been able to enjoy some high-scoring matches during the IPL season.
Speaking of the host team KKR, aside from players like Rinku Singh and Shardul Thakur who have helped their team to win with their outstanding exploits, the side appears to have a somewhat underwhelming bowling attack. Andre Russell is among the notable players who have yet to make an impact during the current season.
In the meantime, SRH, who defeated the Punjab Kings on Sunday (April 9) and earned their first victory of the IPL 2023, will aim to advance in the points table. Aiden Makram's team has shown stability in their batting performance for the first time this season, but PBKS is still concerned about the opening pair as a result of which the orange army has yet to reach 150 in any games this year.
Given the strengths and shortcomings of both teams, KKR appears to be significantly stronger than SRH, but given the last five thrilling games this season, it is still too early to pick a winner.
