Tokyo: Indian Shooter Singhraj Adana wins bronze in Men's 10M air pistol in Tokyo Paralympics on Tuesday. China's Chao Yang, including Xing Huang, gained gold and silver, respectively.
Stating the success, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) formulated in their Twitter handle, "#Paralympics debut at 39 and that too with a Bronze!! @AdhanaSinghraj is proof that hard work always pays off. With his dedication and determination, he has won the Third place medal and made every Indian proud. What a spectacular win! You have inspired us all. #Praise4Para #Cheer4India".
This reward counts as India's second medal in shooting. Avani Lekhara won the women's 10m air rifle standing finals (SH 1) on Monday.
The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, further congratulated him for winning a bronze medal in Tokyo Paralympics.
"Singhraj Adana's winning the bronze medal in shooting at #Paralympics marks a high point in his saga of resilience and determined pursuit of perfection. Congratulations to him for this astonishing achievement! The nation is proud of you. May you reach higher honour in the years to come", reads President of India's Twitter handle post.
India Prime minister Narendra Modi further congratulated him and stated, "Exceptional achievement by Singhraj Adhana! India's skilled shooter takes home the coveted Bronze Medal.
