Digital Desk:
In the absence of Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul, Sanju Samson will be selected for the ODI and T20I teams...
Digital Desk: Sanju Samson, the wicketkeeper batter for Rajasthan Royals, is likely to make a comeback during India's trip to the West Indies. The RR captain, who missed the T20Is against Sri Lanka and New Zealand, is expected to be named to the ODI and T20I squads for the Caribbean tour. Samson is poised to get ample chances in the absence of some of the team's senior players, despite being in and out of the side and not receiving any constant runs.
Samson last played a T20I against Sri Lanka before sustaining a hamstring injury. Following that, the RR star played in the IPL, although he did not have a fantastic run with the bat, scoring only 360 runs in 13 innings. The wicketkeeper hitter will be eager to play and make the most of his opportunities against the West Indies.

With Rishabh Pant ruled out of the team at least until the ODI World Cup, Samson and Ishan Kishan will get enough opportunities. Not only in T20Is but the RR wicketkeeper is expected to be included in the ODI team as well. With KL Rahul out, Samson might fill in as a wicketkeeper hitter in the 50-over format.
With Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami, and Siraj rested or injured, Samson is likely to be allowed more leeway in ODIs and T20s.
