4/90, 7/56, and 84 vs Pakistan in 1980: Kapil Dev became the Man of the Match in the first Test of the three-match series against England. He took four wickets within 54 runs in the series to add to his figures of 1/67.

5/28 vs Australia in 1981: Kapil Dev once again proved that he is an all-rounder by taking five spectacular wickets that aided India to win the game by 59 runs.
