India-Pakistan T20 Worldcup match brought various feuds after a heartbreaking loss of India against Pakistan. A video went viral that highlighted medical students in Kashmir celebrating Pakistan to victory over India.
Jammu and Kashmir police have registered FIRs against students of two medical colleges in Srinagar. The complaints were for raising pro-Pakistan slogans on the World Cup T20 victory of Pakistan over India.
Police filed two FIRs under the prevention of unlawful activities act (UAPA). So, these cases were registered against Sher E Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Srinagar (SKIMS) medical college and government medical college Srinagar.
"Students of these two colleges raised slogans after their won the T20 World cup match on Sunday," police stated.

Videos of Government Medical College (GMC) and Sher E Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar had gone viral. Also, some students chanted catchwords against India and in appreciation of Pakistan.
As per an FIR filed at Soura police station (under FIR No. 104/2021), "during the intervening night of 24 and 25 October 2021 after Pakistan won the one-day cricket match, students pursuing MBBS and other medical degrees residing in the hostel of SKIMS Soura raised slogans and burst firecrackers".
The unrest occurred even as Home Minister Amit Shah was on his three-day visit to Jammu & Kashmir. But, this visit was the first after the abrogation of Article 370 from the erstwhile state.
