WhatsApp now lets you hide Last seen, Status and Profile Photo from selected contacts

You may now control who can see your Profile Photo, About, and Last Seen status from your contact list." Users previously had no way to hide their last seen and status updates from certain persons. "Everyone," "My Contacts," and "Nobody" were the only options available to the users. The "My Contacts except" option is now available to users.

    Digital Desk: WhatsApp has
been progressively introducing new features to improve the user experience. The
messaging app was found designing a feature that would allow users to hide
their connections from certain persons. WhatsApp has finally brought out the
feature after months of testing. Users will be able to hide their last seen and
status updates from persons they don't like with WhatsApp's new feature
    upgrade.

    "To
further secure your privacy online, we are rolling out new choices to your
privacy control settings," WhatsApp said in a tweet announcing the feature
update. You may now control who can see your Profile Photo, About, and Last
Seen status from your contact list." Users previously had no way to hide
their last seen and status updates from certain persons. "Everyone,"
"My Contacts," and "Nobody" were the only options available
to the users. The "My Contacts except" option is now available to
    users.

    Your last seen, profile
photo, about, and status will be visible to all WhatsApp users if you select
the "Everyone" option before writing a status. If you choose 'My
Contacts,' only your address book contacts will be able to see your last seen,
profile photo, about, or status. Similarly, if you select 'My Contacts
Except...,' your last seen, profile photo, about, or status will be available
to your address book contacts, except those you exclude, and if you select
'Nobody,' your last seen, profile photo, about, or status will not be available
    to anybody.

of new features for group calls. Users can now mute particular people during a
call using the app. However, it is unclear whether all participants will have
the ability to mute or only the group admin. Users will now be able to message
specific people while on the phone. A new indication has also been added to the
app, making it easier for users to see when more individuals join the call.

Move to iOS application to transfer their chat history, pictures, videos, and
voice messages from Android to iPhone.
