The man claimed that it took him two and a half hours to attach the decorations to his beard and an hour to remove everything.
Digital Desk: It's Christmas time, and most people are busy decorating their Christmas trees with lights and other colourful ornaments. However, one man was busy adorning his beard for the festive season. A man from the United States named Joel Strasser of Kuna, Idaho, set a world record for the most ornaments hung from a beard. According to Guinness World Records, the decorations were hung in such a special way that his beard almost looked like a Christmas tree.
The record was set on December 2. The man decorated his beard with 710 multicoloured wearable holiday ornaments. Speaking of his achievement, Strasser stated, "December of 2019 was the first time I stuck an ornament in my beard and the first time I beat the record. "Ever since then, I've broken my own record every Christmas as I've perfected my beard bauble skill. My method has developed and become much more refined over the years that I've been smashing records."
He also said that breaking the record took a lot of patience.
Strasser said, "I put them in randomly at first, which is why the initial beard bauble record numbers were so low. I've discovered that if I take my time and really pay attention to the individual beard hair strands and small groupings of hair, I can get a lot more in there."
He claimed that it took him two and a half hours to attach the decorations to his beard and an hour to remove everything.
